Men's and
Women's Retreats

Over the course of a year, St. Francis offers many retreat options for men, women, and young adults. All are welcome to join us for a weekend to strengthen their faith as a community. We encourage individuals to bring a friend or invite someone who may have been away from the Church for a while to share the retreat experience. Non-Catholic friends are always welcome.

2024-25 Retreat Theme:
Breaking Open the Parables

Jesus taught the crowds using parables, but He took his closest followers aside to break open these teachings to reveal their deeper meanings.  This retreat will take several of Jesus' parables and explore these deeper meanings, while giving ample time for guests to reflect on His teachings and how they work in our lives.  To be His witness you have to know His teachings.

Along with thought provoking and enlightening presentations, our retreats include 2 Masses, the opportunity for Reconciliation and Adoration, plus time for individual prayer and fellowship.

The suggested donation for a weekend is $215 (or $135 for a one night option) and includes lodging, meals and materials. Retreats will take place in the Retreat House building, where guest rooms are private. Some share a connecting bath, others use community restrooms down the hall. Rooms all have their own individually controlled heat and a/c unit. The Retreat Center provides towels and bedding.

For these retreats, we will be using the iBrievary app for Morning and Evening Prayers. If you do not already use this app, feel free to watch this tutorial on how to download it to your phone.
